Richardson
John L. (Buddy) Richardson, age 85 of Jonesboro, formerly of Social Circle, died on Jan. 12, 2010. He was born in Social Circle on Oct. 28, 1924 to the late Phillip Richardson and the late Daisy Malcom Richardson.
He is survived by his lifelong partner, Charlotte Jenkins of Jonesboro; daughters and son-in-law, Karlene Richardson of Social Circle, and Teresa and Willie Brooks of Social Circle; sons and daughter-in-law, Randall and Gelaine Richardson of Social Circle, Neil Richardson of Oxford, and Dennis Clayton of Jonesboro; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held on Friday, Jan. 15, at 1 p.m. at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Douglas Parham and the Rev. Gene Hammonds officiating.
Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
