Joanna Stevens Nixon age 64 of Loganville, passed away on Friday, Jan. 15, 2010. Funeral Services were held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 18, with remains placed in state at 12:30 p.m. at the Fellowship Baptist Church, 4297 Hwy 81, Oxford. Burial followed in Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Monroe. Mrs. Nixon was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and is survived by her husband, Phillip Edward Nixon, Loganville; son, Eddie Shaw, TX; daughter, Rhonda Shaw Reynolds, NC; sister, Patricia Stevens Moon, Loganville; grandchildren, Jacob, Caleb and Hannah Shaw; Tanner and Caden Reynolds; nieces, Dana Callihan; Andrea Peeler, Lauren Barger; and Close family friend, Willard Sutton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Good Samaritan Baptist Mission, P. O. Box 430, Villa Rica, Georgia 30180.
