Billy Greer
Billy Greer
Billy Greer, age 81 of Monroe, died on Jan. 12, 2010. He was born in Braselton on Sept. 10, 1928 to the late Joseph Luther Greer and the late Pearl Towler Greer. He was preceded in death by his wife, the late Sarah Laverne Sims Greer.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Joann G. and Richard Tanner of Monroe; brother, Jimmy Greer of Monroe; granddaughters, Kayla Tanner of Monroe, and Ashley Tanner of Monroe.
Funeral Services were held on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Courts officiating. Interment followed at Mt. Vernon Christian Church Cemetery.
Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
